Born from the mind of coach and rider Adam Smylie, CREAM Snowboarding exists to bring people together who want to ride with style, connect deeply with the mountains, and express themselves on snow.
We’re not about churning out generic lessons. We're about true self expression through movement, unlocking flow states, and riding with meaning. Whether you’re here to refine your technique, chase a creativity, or find a crew that gets it, you're in the right place.
Hey, I’m Adam. Creator of CREAM Snowboarding
I left behind a career in engineering to follow what really inspired me, snowboarding. Since then, I’ve spent winters riding and coaching across Switzerland, Japan, and New Zealand, chasing deeper connection with the mountains and with the people I ride alongside.
I’m an SBINZ Level 3 instructor, but for me, it’s never just been about ticking technical boxes. I care about helping riders find their own style, and expression that works for them. Whether I’m training instructors or guiding intermediate and advanced riders, I aim to create space for real progression, the kind that sticks because it comes from within.
Off the board, I’m usually out hiking, laying down basslines with one of my bands, or plunging into cold water somewhere. I like things that challenge me and keep me grounded. That’s what CREAM is all about, building a creative, expressive snowboarding culture that goes beyond the surface.
